Standard transport of your race car and limited equipment (2 euro pallets) is included in the entry fee for shipment from Rotterdam to Dubai and vice versa with 40ft containers by sea freight. Teams should deliver their cars to the port (eg. Rotterdam) end of November 2014.
The cars will be back at the port (eg. Rotterdam) approximately 23rd of February 2015.


With the highly international character of the Hankook 24H DUBAI race we arrange transport from all over the world for our teams.
In 2014 teams and drivers from over 40 different countries participated in the 9th edition of the 24H DUBAI 2014.
Again in 2015, teams will come from all over the world. Therefore we can arrange shipment of your race car and equipment, from other ports (worldwide) at additional costs.

Our goal is to deliver all-in, door to door shipment. This means from your home location to the paddock of Dubai Autodrome circuit and vice versa. About required paperwork for import and export you will be informed in detail but this is not something to worry about.

Cost, details and conditions

Below you will find the additional cost for this transport service, what is included and also important what is not.

INCLUDED:
BEFORE THE RACE
- Trucking of the container from your home location to the port  (max. 400km, it is not possible to load at the port)/ NO SIDELOADER
- Sea freight: from the port of your choice to Jebel Ali (Dubai)
- Transport from Jebel Ali to the paddock of Dubai Autodrome
- Grounding of the container behind your pitbox

AFTER THE RACE
- Pick up of the container
- Transport from the circuit of  Dubai Autodrome to Jebel Ali port
- Sea freight: Jebel Ali (Dubai) to port of origin
- Trucking of the container from the port to your home location (max. 400km, it is not possible to unload at the port)/ NO SIDELOADER

TRANSPORT INSURANCE IS NOT INCLUDED
Transport insurance is not included in the price, because it depends on the value of your car and equipment. Because
a transport insurance is strongly advised Creventic can offer you a transport insurance:
0,6% of value of the car and equipment + 135EUR Inspection/administration cost
(Example: Value of the car and equipment is 50.000EUR. Transport insurance will cost 430EUR)

TRUCKING
In the below mentioned additional cost, TRUCKING of the container is included.
The container will be delivered on a standard truck (no sideloader) at your home location (one location, maximum 400km from Port).

Please note: standard is 2 cars in one 40ft (12meter) container to be loaded at one location.

Teams have 2 hours to load the cars and equipment into the container.
After 2 hours the truck will leave and the container will be delivered to the port.
Extra waiting hours are at own costs.

Same procedure after the race, back to home location.
In case your home location is over 400km distance from the port, please send a mail to: gengler@creventic.com to request for additional costs for trucking of the extra kilometres.

Note: the truck will be a standard truck (no sideloader), this means the container will stay on the truck during loading, which means you need to have a loading doc or a ramp to load the car into the container.

At additional costs, a sideloader, a truck which can place the container on the floor, can be requested. However a sideloader is up to 100% more expensive and not always available.

       

SEA FREIGHT
The container will be shipped by sea, from your port to Dubai. This is all-in sea-freight like: (export-import, customs, terminal handling charges). Same procedure after the race.

TRANSPORT TO DUBAI AUTODROME PADDOCK
From the port of Dubai, your container will be transported by truck to the paddock. The container will be placed behind the pit garages on the paddock. The container will stay there the entire 24h event and can be used by the team.

OTHER CONTAINER OPTIONS
The most effective way is to load 2 race cars and equipment into one 40ft container.
If you prefer to have an exclusive container for your team, or a second car/team is not available, you can choose for:
- exclusive 40ft container (exclusive for one car and equipment)
- exclusive 20ft container (exclusive for one car and equipment)
