The original Radio Le Mans FM station was born out of the introduction during the mid-1980’s of ‘Special Event Radio’. In 1987 Radio Le Mans broadcast for the first time in English, backed by Jaguar and produced by Studio 6 Marketing. Neville and Richard Hay provided the commentary assisted by Bob Constanduros from the pits, but during the night the whole show shut down while a music loop was played.

Over the years the service expanded so that the whole race was covered and more and more of the sessions earlier in the week were also included.
Ten years later Radio Le Mans started with streaming on the Internet for the first time. In 1997, a major technological advance with far-reaching consequences was made as Radio Le Mans teamed up with web-providers, to enable listeners to tune in to the station through their PC’s, wherever they were in the world. This expanded the audience from those with radio receivers in the physical vicinity of the transmitter at Le Mans, to the potential of a global audience via the World Wide Web.

Radio Show Limited has forged close links with broadcasters across the world. Syndicated live audio has featured on Sirius/XM and local stations in the USA. ITV, Motors TV and other televison channels have used RSL's on site play-by-play for their live broadcasts. Production companies have incorporated Radiolemans.com broadcast audio in documentaries for network TV in major markets.

Nowadays radiolemans.com is a fulltime automotive and motorsport radio service. Their slogan reads: ‘Helping racing fans watch sports car racing worldwide!’ In recent years RSL has extended the brand by adding other races and events to its calendar of live coverage. In 2007 they covered the Nurburgring 24 hours with Aston Martin and this has been continued to the present day with support from Nissan and Aston Martin. The Le Mans Series and the American Le Mans Series, as well as Classic Le Mans have also been very popular additions to the broadcast line up. The weekly flagship magazine show, Midweek Motorsport, features news and reports from motor racing events around the world.
