Preparing for the ultimate battle
Hard work in 24H BARCELONA

After enjoying the sun of Barcelona the hard work has started.

This weekend will the spectacular endurance event finally take place: the 24H of Barcelona. Over 50 teams with drivers from 20 different countries will appear at the start grid.
Everybody is busy with unpacking, installing and preparing for the 24H BARCELONA.The first teams already arrived yesterday and all the other teams will arrive today. On the grounds of Circuit the Catalunya more and more trucks arrive and containers gather. People walking everywhere concentrating on their goal: the ultimate preparation so the race can begin smoothly and victory comes closer. Fast racing cars dominate the view of the pitlane of today. At the moment the first cars become acquainted with the track.

Today the circuit will be open for all teams for a Private Test Day. The teams can also choose to do Optional Sporting Checks and afterwards  the Optional Scrutineering.

Because of the huge international entry of the 24H Barcelona, the event is already a great success. Teams and drivers are not only coming from Europe, but also from the United States, Singapore, Venezuela, United Arab Emirates and South Africa. This international aspect of the race ensures a great atmosphere and mix of culture.

A diversity of sports car brands such as BMW, Mini, Ferrari, GC Automobile, Lotus, McLaren, Renault, Seat and Volkswagen (a total of 14 different car brands) will guarantee a phenomenal 24H race.

The real track action starts tomorrow, with the Free Practice from 16.30 till 17.15h, followed by Qualifying Practice from 17.45 till 19.45h and Night Practice from 21.00 till 23.00h.
After the Pit Walk of Saturday morning all the hard work will finally be rewarded. Saturday 8th September at 12.00h will the race start.
