2. High-quality live TV production for 2013 Dunlop 24H DUBAI
GENNEP (December 19th, 2012) – Of course, watching the action live at Dubai Autodrome is the best way to experience the Dunlop 24H DUBAI (January 10-12, 2013). For those lucky enough to be there, access is free. All those at home have several options to choose from. Live TV coverage on Motors TV and various other channels, the 24H Series Youtube channel and commentary at radiolemans.com, plus live timing and scoring and latest news at live.24hseries.com are great ways to keep up with the race. Regular updates can also be found on Facebook (24hseries) and Twitter (@24HSERIES).
With 85 GT’s, touring cars and 24H Specials expected on the grid for the eighth running of the Dunlop 24H DUBAI, there will be plenty of action at the 5.390 kilometres long Dubai Autodrome. Once again, the specialist team of German production company Quattro Media will be on site to produce spectacular footage. Plenty of cameras will be installed along the track and roving cameras will be available in the pit lane. Moreover, eight top cars will be equipped with on-board cameras to give a view from a driver’s perspective. These onboard cameras are being supplied by ALFACAM, the expert company that also provides the onboard camera equipment and broadcast technology for the FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC).
Live TV coverage of the 2013 Dunlop 24H DUBAI is being presented by the event’s title sponsor Dunlop and TV partner Nissan. Motors TV will be live on air for more than 16 hours during the event while live footage will also be broadcast by Sportklub (Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Poland, Montenegro), Nelonen Pro1 (Finland), LifeTV! (Belgium), Sport 5 (Czech Republic, Slovakia), Slovaksport (Slovakia), Viasat Motor (Sweden, Norway) and Arab Motors TV (Middle East). For those present at Dubai Autodrome for the 2013 Dunlop 24H DUBAI, a visit to the Dubai Village in the paddock area is a must! The heritage village, celebrating typical Dubai tradition, culture and hospitality, is already well-known from previous races, but now, the village will be expanded by various sales booths with exclusive high-quality event merchandise and products from various suppliers like Stand21, SPEEDCOM and Racing Sportiva. The Dubai Village will also be the venue for the official Welcome Party and barbecue on Wednesday, January 9th.
5. Date already set for 9th running Dunlop 24H DUBAI 2014
Keeping up with the pace at which developments are going on in motorsport, one of the most dynamic sports in the world, organisers of the Dunlop 24H DUBAI, the first international 24h race of the calendar year for GTs, touring cars and 24h specials, have already set the date for the ninth running of the event, which will be held at Dubai Autodrome from January 9th till 11th, 2014.
