Publication date 24H BARCELONA 2013: 6-7-8 September*
After a successful 24H of Barcelona 2012 we proudly present the date* for the sixteenth edition of this endurance race in 2013.6-7-8 September* will Circuit de Catalunya again be the stage for the ultimate Spanish 24 hour race. The sunny wheater in Barcelelona gives this race a special character, this year temperature raised even to 30 degrees.
The Entry List for 2012 was more international than previous years and there was a great challenge and competition in every class. 24H BARCELONA is therefore a challenging race for Touring cars, Diesel cars, Special cars as well GT cars. The successful endurance race of Barcelona is only three weeks ago but teams already showed their interest in the 2013 edition of 24H BARCELONA. The McLaren MP4C-12 GT3 of the German team Lapidus Racing, driven by Dutch driver Klaas Hummel, Adam Christodoulou, Phil Quaife and Tim Mullen all three from the UK was the clear winner of the 2012 edition of 24H BARCELONA.
The second overall position went to Russian Bears Motorsport 1, made-up of Spanish driver Miguel Toril, Russian drivers Dmitry Samorukov, Boris Rotenberg and Sergey Zlobin, as well as Maurizio Mediani from Italy, all of them exchanging the place at the wheel of the Ferrari 458 Italia GT3.
On third overall position was the Porsche 997 Cup of the Slovakian team ARC Bratislava, with their Slovakian drivers Miro and Mato Konôpkas and Dutch drivers Ivo Breukens, Wolf Nathan and Jaap Van Lagen.
